Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe
A creamy peanut butter fudge recipe, a simple sweet treat.
1/2 cup butter
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup peanuts, chopped (optional)
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add brown sugar and milk and boil for 2 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat.
Add peanut butter, vanilla and stir.
Pour confectioners' sugar into a large mixing bowl and pour the hot peanut mixture over top, beating until smooth.
Optional: stir in chopped nuts.
Pour fudge int0 8x8 inch pan.
Chill in fridge for 1 hour until firm.
To serve, cut into 1 inch squares.
